Today, we explored how our hearts and minds truly grow.
Just like a baby bird inside an egg, staying inside the shell feels safe and comfortable. However, if the bird never breaks that shell, it can never fly in the vast sky. In the same way, if we only do what is easy and avoid things that feel burdensome or challenging, our minds can never grow strong.
Today, we practiced the courage to not run away from our "shells" but to break through them.
Today’s activity:
• Identify My "Shell": What is something I find difficult or burdensome right now?
• The Transformation: Who will I become once I overcome this challenge?
Through this session, our learners practiced facing their pressures head-on and envisioning the stronger, "flying" version of themselves. We are learning that growth happens just outside of our comfort zone.
We look forward to watching our students break their shells and soar.
